Soccer is known to be the most famous sport in the world. In soccer there is 2 teams with 11 players. Soccer is played on a large grass field but you can also play indoor. The point of the game it to get the ball into the opposite team’s goal. You can player soccer by only using your feet to dribble it and the goalie can only touch the ball. Soccer is played by all ages around the world for example small kids league and to professional international teams.

The most famous soccer tournament is the world cup and it occurs every four years. The world cup tournament is made for other country around the world to compete with each other.Soccer is really famous because it’s a really cheap game to play because you just need a soccer ball and a big flat area to play in. Also its really famous because it’s fun and teams get really competitive with each other. If you’re thinking of losing weight the fun way soccer may be the right thing for you soccer consists of a lot of running for good distances.

This sport is played by approximately 250 million players in over 200 countries, making it the world’s most popular sport to be played. Men were the main players in the game but not anymore because a lot of women got into to the sport as well and there’s many successful women soccer player as well as guys. While soccer is played throughout the world, women in London were banned from playing in 1921 and kept on going for fifty years. Some interesting things you want to know about this well known sport is international games can last up to 45 minutes. Another interesting fact is in China soccer balls were made of from sewn clothing that was filled with rubble. In Europe they started to make them from inflated pig bladders. Today most of the balls are made from layers of synthetic leather while the bladders inside the ball were from latex and butyl. No one know when exactly soccer was created but the earliest version of the game was tracked back 3,000 years ago.

Finally in England soccer was formed when several clubs formed the football association about 150 years ago. In conclusion I think we all know why soccer is so well known around the world because it’s a really fun competitive game I also am one of those people who like playing soccer especially in the summer with family and friends.
