How it works

The George Orwell Animal Farm starts on an English farm. The old man collects animals from the manor house and continues to share his dream of a world without humans and animals under control. He warns them not to focus on all animals as equals. When he dies with three young pigs – snowstands, Napoleon and Sclera – he formulates his basic principles in the philosophy of “Animalism”. From the Old Major, seven commandments are written:

  1. Everyone walking on two feet is an enemy.

  2. Regardless of the four legs or wings, it is a friend.
  3. One animal does not have to wear clothes.
  4. No animal should sleep at bedtime.
  5. No animal should drink alcohol.
  6. No animal shall kill any other animal.
  7. All animals are the same.

However, there are warning signs that not all animals are treated equally. Pigs, which are the smartest of animals, quickly become permanent agricultural leaders. Struggle begins between Snowball and Napoleon, who disagrees with almost everything. A snow cat who wants to build a windmill claims that it will produce electricity, which can then be used to heat animal remains and ease their load. Napoleon claims that the animals will be starved if they leave their homes at the windmills. Snowball offers an enthusiastic speech at the meeting to take part in the vote. Although Napoleon gives only a short retort, he then creates a strange noise, and nine attack aircraft rushing to the barn and releasing a snow-cap from the farm. Napoleon also starts to work more and more like a man. Pigs go home and justify their actions by overwriting the commandments to sleep on the bed to read: “Animals should not lie on the bed with the leaves.” After the pigs discover the whiskey from the country house, and the commandment “No animal should drink alcohol” is secretly replaced by the words “No animal should drink excessive alcohol.” In spring, Napoleon is called a meeting in which several animals come out and publicly acknowledge various crimes. They are immediately executed by the Napoleonic dogs. Excited and scared, the animals are looking for the commandments against the killing of animals, but they find that now it says: “No animal has any kind of struggle with animals” Over the years, many livestock are old and dying; There are only a few left who remember the days before the uprising. However, when, however, the animals were shocked to see that the pigs learned to walk two feet. When they return to the dead, the pairs of older animals note that the wall where the commandments were, now simply says: “All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.” After a couple of weeks, pigs start wearing human clothes that they find in a country house. A week later, Napoleon calls on a number of people, including Pilkington, to visit a farm. Napoleon stood up and announces that Animal Farm will return to its “correct and original” name, Manor Farm. When animals draw attention to the window, they suddenly realize that they can no longer tell the difference between males and pigs.
